Wealth Management

Wealth management involves creating an investment portfolio that produces appropriate diversification based on the individual client’s needs and goals. Based on their risk tolerance and financial objectives, we create a unique strategy that seeks to help them preserve their wealth. Professional wealth management may provide investors access to investments they may not have otherwise, including a wide variety of traditional and alternative investment classes.

Financial Planning

Implementing a variety of different strategies, the goal of financial planning is to help clients determine why they want to invest, how to manage their wealth strategies, and to plan for the future. We can help clients establish their goals, and evaluate their assets, liabilities, and current financial position. We can then implement a strategy aligned with their financial objectives, from retirement income planning to tax strategies.

Retirement Planning

We seek to identify opportunities for building a consistent income that will last through retirement and help clients determine when they may be able to retire. The retirement income planning process often includes analyzing income sources, managing assets, determining future expenses, and estate planning. Beyond developing a retirement plan, we can offer clients advice and education on 401(k) and IRA rollovers, Social Security (including how to claim and maximize their benefits), long-term care insurance, and other complex financial elements of retirement.

Estate Planning*

Many individuals want to leave a legacy for their family. As clients approach and live in retirement, we can assist with their estate planning needs, including offering insight and appropriate recommendations. Estate planning is critical for ensuring one’s wishes are carried out. Without a plan, the state will handle the assets according to probate laws and taxes can quickly add up. We can help clients identify how they want to pass on their assets, who will receive what, and when and how. Additionally, we can work with their attorneys and other advisors to assist in ensuring an appropriate estate plan is in place.

Insurance

There are several different insurance options available, and it can be confusing determining which policies are most appropriate for an individual and their family. We can help educate clients on their insurance options, including life, disability, and long-term care insurance.

Investing involves risk including the potential loss of principal. No investment strategy can guarantee a profit or protect against loss. There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will outperform a non-diversified portfolio; it is a method used to help manage portfolio volatility.
